Office of the Academic Affairs is responsible for planning, monitoring and implementing academic policies of the University College.
Occasionally, it evaluates the effectiveness or functionality of academic policies for effective policy recommendation to Management and the Academic Board.
This includes the practice and procedures for admission, examination, teaching and learning, time-table preparation, room allocation, curriculum, graduation requirements, students’ registration and records.
The office works closely with affiliate institutions, Heads of Department, Academic Board, and other public institutions towards effective realization of the vision and mission of the University College.
CAUC is committed to producing quality, ethical, employable and entrepreneurially minded graduates. The University College fulfils this through a well-structured mentorship, internship and practical training in employable skills acquisition programmes.
CAUC has qualified, competent, devoted and well-motivated professional teaching and non- teaching staff who provide quality tuition and social services to the highest standard.
CAUC is located at Kumasi, Kwadaso behind the Shell filling station adjacent the Kwadaso main Market which is about 300 meters walking distance to the University College.It has a serene environment for both teaching and learning. The location is also very accessible to students and visitors from different parts of the city.
Fees charged are very competitive compared to the quality of tuition offered and facilities available. The University College also offers installment payment plan for those who cannot pay their fees in full on reopening day.
The University College also offers financial award and support in the form of discounts to members of the Christ Apostolic Church International and other students of the University College. These awards affects only the tuition component of the fees and are disbursed either once or annually.
The University College further supports eligible students of the University College in the application process of the SLTF or SSNIT Students’ loan scheme, CACI Scholarship and scholarships from the Ghana Scholarships secretariate through seminars, orientation programmes and on-campus verification of application forms.
The University College operates a residential facility with modern state of the art facilities which is moderately affordable and a walking distance from the main campus. CAUC has a cafeteria which serves delicious and well-balanced meals which are also moderately priced.
