Calleb Osei is a fellow of the Association of Certified Chartered Accountant (ACCA), a member of Institute of Chartered Accountant (ICA-Ghana) and has an Executive Master’s in Business Administration (Accounting option) and BSc in Administration (Accounting Option) from the Business School of the University of Ghana, Legon
Calleb has an honorary Doctorate Degree in Business Administration (Leadership and Strategic Management) from Maverick Business School (London) Calleb has attended the London Banking School of Risk Management, was the guest of the British Government at the 2015 City Week, an International Financial Services forum and participated in the 2016 Future of Finance Conference organized by FMO in Netherlands among others. He was a panel member of the Arab African Trade Forum held in Dubai in December 2017, providing key insights into how the Middle East can tap into the trade business of the SubSaharan African Countries.
Calleb’s expertise cut across Risk Management, Treasury Management, Financial Reporting and Tax Planning Calleb currently works with Guaranty Trust Bank as the Chief Finance Officer (CFO) for Ghana and as the Regional CFO for West Africa (excluding Nigeria) having previously worked with Access Bank Ghana Limited as the CFO as well.
Calleb with over 12 years working experience within the financial sector has been involved in key projects including;
Transition from Ghana Accounting Standard to International Financial Reporting
Standard (IFRS) in 2008 for Guaranty Trust Bank
Implementation of IFRS 9 and 16 for Access Bank and Guaranty Trust Bank respectively
Initial Public Offer for Access Bank Ghana Limited
Development of medium term plans for both Access and Guaranty Trust Bank
Set up of Corporate Finance and Investor Relations Units for Access Bank Ghana
