Good morning.
On behalf of the President and Management of the Christ Apostolic University College and on my own behalf, I welcome all fresh men and women to the general orientation ceremony of the CAUC with great pleasure. I hope you are equally excited to be with us and will enjoy your stay.
The number of years you will be spending with us here is few but the decisions and choices you make can affect your future either negatively or positively. Always bear in mind that, the essence of education is not to automatically make you rich or comfortable in life but to equip you with knowledge which when put into good use will make you not only rich and comfortable but also impact your society, our country Ghana and the world at large.
I will therefore entreat you all to make a decision to study to acquire knowledge you can use to impact your life and others and not to just chew pour pass and forget. CAUC can confidently boast of good lecturers that can help you achieve this aim, a fact a lot of our Alumni attest to and you will also realize as soon as lectures begun.
Today marks a very important step in your life as you begin the journey of studying at this University. To be successful I advise you to adhere to four key principles that will guide you to success at CAUC and the world beyond.

Don't just do it...Anything you do, do it well and to the best of your ability
3. Hard work with Perseverance and a Never- Give-Up Mentality
There is no substitute for Hard work... Challenges, difficulties and discouragement will come your way but push on never, never, never give up and you will definitely succeed with the help of God.
4. Honesty and Integrity in all your undertakings This is a Christian institution, and we uphold Christian principles of high morality, honesty, and integrity. Therefore, exam malpractice, cheating etc. will not be tolerated. The punishment is severe and swift.
The staff of the University college will -always be available to offer any form of assistance you might need. Make efforts to know the officers to contact when you find yourselves in certain situations. Your heads of Department and Dean of student will also be there to provide you with assistant you will need to make your stay comfortable. I wish you the very best in your studies.
