CHRIST APOSTOLIC UNIVERSITY COLLEGE TO COMPETE WITH THE TOP RANKING UNIVERSITIES
Professor Kwame Boasiako Omane-Antwi, who was recently appointed as the new chairman of the governing council of the Christ Apostolic University College, CAUC, has announced the school’s intentions to become more competitive.
In his acceptance speech at the swearing-in ceremony, he expressed his intentions to revitalize the University College.
He stated, “My main vision for the university college is to make it competitive. This can be achieved through a competitive programme portfolio to be run by the University College, coupled with adequate infrastructure and facilities, qualified teaching and administrative staff that meet the GTEC requirements.”
These intentions came as a breeze of good news to buttress the institution’s efforts of providing the best to all students in their pursuit of higher education. It was also an assurance that the school would continue with the application process to become a chartered University.
He also emphasized good governance systems and adequate financial resources among others to make the university college a going concern.
Professor Omane-Antwi further reminded stakeholders of the need to be diligent in their duties and explained that together, they would achieve the aim of the university college.
Not holding back, Professor Omane-Antwi gave his word that he would be bringing on board nothing but his full knowledge and expertise to further CAUC’s vision.
Professor Omane-Antwi who served as Pro Vice Chancellor, Vice Rector and Dean at the Pentecost University has an academic career spanning over 40years.
