CHRIST APOSTOLIC UNIVERSITY COLLEGE GETS NEW COUNCIL CHAIRMAN AND PRESIDENT
Christ Apostolic University College, CAUC, has appointed Professor Kwame Boasiako Omane-Antwi whose career as a university lecturer spans over 40 years, as the new council chairman of the governing council of the university College.
Also a chartered accountant, the professor’s appointment puts him in office to take over from Professor Geoffrey Emi-Reynolds who has also been newly appointed to serve in the capacity as President of the university college.
Both professors declared their intentions to make CAUC a name synonymous with excellence in education.
The new council chairman revealed that he would make the school a personal priority. He said, “My main vision for the university college is to make it competitive. This can be achieved through a competitive program portfolio to be run by the university college, coupled with adequate infrastructure and facilities, qualified teaching and administrative staff that meet the GTEC requirements.”
He assured that the school would, take more steps to gain independence from its mentor institutions and earn the title and rights to operate as a university.
Emphasized good governance systems and adequate financial resources, shareholders, individuals and organizations with an interest in CAUC’s growth and success were implored keep giving their best.
Professor Omane-Antwi reminded stakeholders that diligent work would help achieve the aim of the university college.
